Serum No. 5: A Cup of Teal + mix & match mani

GUYS!

I have some beautiful polishes to share with you today!  My love for holos continues to grow and grow with every one of them I acquire (holo = holographic = rainbow sparkly goodness!)  I created a mix & match mani out of several different polishes.

Follow the jump for more pictures and details on how I created this look!

Polishes used:

Serum No. 5 A Cup of Teal
OPI DS Classic
Essie All Eyes on Nudes

To Create This Look:

1.  I painted my index & middle fingers with 2 coats of Serum No. 5 A Cup of Teal.
2.  I painted my ring & pinky fingers with 2 coats of Essie All Eyes on Nudes.
3.  I used a large dotting tool to create the dot pattern on my ring finger with A Cup of Deal and DS Classic.
4.  I used a small dotting tool to create the dot pattern on my pinky with A Cup of Teal and DS Classic.
5.  I applied topcoat on my index & middle fingers.  I did not apply topcoat on my ring & pinky fingers to maintain the matte effect of the base color.

It was gray & cloudy so I used my desk lamp to capture the rainbow

I'm also back to squares.  What do you guys think?  The rounds were nice while they were nubs but I think I like the look of squares better as they grow out.  The nice thing about fingernails is that they grow back quickly and can be changed easily!

As Always, Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I loooove this look! I've been eyeing some Serum polishes lately! They remain an unused brand, I might have to remedy that soon!
